Trained by the world renown Nicole Masters in regenerating agricultural systems and broad field agroecology. 20 years experience in large scale conservation farming and six years in intensive organic market gardening. Owner of Highland Harmony Farm LLC, sharing healthy grains and flour with the West, from local markets to the One&Only Moonlight Basin in Big Sky. Six years project management including finance, construction, operation, and improvements in municipal hydrology. Adept mentoring, monitoring, reporting, and thorough ecosystem understanding.

John is a quiet but integral component of the Lentil Underground movement as the cofounder of the Montana Pea and Lentil Growers Association. 40+ years farming, ranching, and feed production. Mill owner and chief operator of J & V Bays Farm and supplier to Highland Harmony Farm. Wealth of experience in land conservation, regenerative practices, alternative crop solutions, honeybee management, and state and federal policies including implementation, fertility, NRCS, and FSA programs.
